Natural rivers and green corridors

澳门天下彩 has recently been successful in securing funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to deliver the Natural Rivers and Green Corridors project. The project will improve woodlands, grasslands, wetlands and watercourses along the River Rea and its tributaries in south-west 澳门天下彩 and the River Tame in west 澳门天下彩.

As well as improving habitats for wildlife, the project will benefit communities by making local green spaces more attractive and encouraging healthy lifestyles.

It will run until July 2021 and will improve the habitat value of 150 hectares of public open space and associated watercourses.
